Visiting Assistant Teaching Professor in Italian Language and Culture, University of Notre Dame

The Department of Romance Languages and Literatures is seeking to appoint a full-time, visiting assistant teaching professor in Italian language and culture in a dynamic undergraduate program committed to innovation and teaching excellence. This is a one-year appointment, to begin in August 2024, with the possibility of renewal for a second year. The number of teaching hours will depend on enrollments, but normal teaching load will be 3/3 (9/9 credit hours).
ACTFL OPI Advanced High or Superior or equivalent in Italian and English essential, as is extensive experience teaching Italian courses at the university level. PhD or ABD in Italian linguistics, language pedagogy, or related field required.
