Details of the role:
The Performing Hearts Theatre’s new upcoming performance ‘The World on Wheels’ is officially happening at the Sydney Opera House!
The Lifestyles group’s latest performance ‘The World on Wheels’ is created, written and performed by 8 individuals with Cerebral Palsy, who share their love of theatre while advocating for more representation of people with a disability in the performing arts sector, on the worlds greatest stage, the Sydney Opera House. ‘The World on Wheels’ is an exploration of human relationships, loss, and the impact of isolation in our increasingly hectic lives. It focuses on the importance of connecting with one another, and in doing so, with ourselves. Our unique characters from different walks of life embark a journey which when it turns to turmoil, they realise that they all have more in common than they thought.
We are looking for a prop technician to help build props and support our clients on Thursday’s from June through t o the end of November. This would suit a student who is studying

Dates & Times:
Date: Thursday’s starting in June
Time: 10:00am - 2:00pm
Tasks & Responsibilities:
Need a volunteer to join us every Thursday for max 4 hours. Needs to be able to support creation of props for Opera House Stage Performance which is planned for November 2024.
Must be handy with a drill.
Must be able to carry stage props.
Deadline for this volunteer to join us would before July 2024.
