Description:

Objective:
As the Corporate Communications Manager for Firstrust, this position will manage strategic enterprise communications to our employees and oversee senior executive and corporate brand presence to external audiences. This individual will lead the development, management, and execution of internal communications across our suite of internal communication channels—including the enterprise intranet, newsletters, email announcements, alert platform and all-employee meetings. Through this effort, the Corporate Communications Manager ensures all employees are well-informed, engaged with our corporate values, and are empowered to contribute to our collective success. The role will effectively promote senior executive and brand presence in the marketplace through PR, earned media and corporate sponsorship activities in the marketplace. This role demands the fostering of strong working relationships across the enterprise, acting as an advocate for the valuable contributions of our employees. The Corporate Communications Manager will provide recommendations on the focus areas for our internal communications platforms, ensuring content is engaging and leverages digital, mobile, and social communication skills. Furthermore, this role involves the utilization of analytics to measure the success of employee and corporate communication channels and initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategize and implement a comprehensive internal communications plan that supports Firstrust Bank’s business goals and provides a central communication channel for senior executive communications and employee updates.
  • Manage and fully develop the written, visual and video content for the enterprise intranet as an effective tool for information sharing, collaboration, and fostering a sense of community.
  • Craft and disseminate the enterprise newsletter, highlighting senior leaders, company milestones, employee achievements, and key initiatives.
  • Coordinate change management communications and announcements, ensuring they are clear, timely, and aligned with overarching communication objectives.
  • Organize and oversee employee meetings and events to strengthen internal connections and maintain our relationship-driven and personal culture.
  • Collaborate with HR and other departments to ensure consistency in messaging and support internal branding and employee recognition and volunteer efforts.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of communication strategies and initiatives, leveraging insights for ongoing refinement and improvement.
  • Develop Senior Executive and Enterprise communication and PR plans, in partnership with the brand’s PR firm.
  • Act as a key advisor to senior management on internal communication strategies and best practices
