VP/Director of Finance

We are offering a role for an Interim Director of Finance in Wichita, Kansas. This role will involve working closely with the interim CEO and the Board of Directors Chair, and overseeing the work of the Accounting Manager and Finance Coordinator. The selected candidate will be expected to assess the company’s financial situation, create financial statements, and establish new systems as needed. This role is a contract employment opportunity.

• Assess the company’s financial situation, including bank accounts and signatory approvals
• Create and present financial statements for the last few months
• Oversee the work of the Accounting Manager and Finance Coordinator
• Establish an inventory system and a grant system as needed
• Manage private funding from foundation donors
• Address any financial issues related to the clinic’s status as a self-pay facility
• Utilize various accounting software systems for financial management
• Carry out auditing and budget processes as required
• Conduct cash flow analysis and capital management
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and ensure they are consolidated and updated monthly.
• Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role such as VP/Director of Finance.
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required.
• Must be well-versed in Accounting Functions.
• Knowledge of Auditing processes is a must.
• Experience in Budget Processes is required.
• Must possess expertise in Capital Management.
• Proficiency in Cash Flow Analysis is necessary.
• Experience in Fund Accounting - Non-Profit is a plus.
• Ability to Analyze Financial Statements is required.
• Must be able to handle Consolidated Financial Statements.
• Proficiency in Financial Statement Preparation is necessary.
• Must be able to handle Monthly Financial Statements.
• Ability to Prepare Financial Statements is required.
• Knowledge of Pro Forma Financial Statements is a plus.
