PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or directly related field.
- Experience in FinTech, payments, or banking systems.
- Experience with team performance turn-around and technology transformation at scale
- Strong technical credentials, with at least 12 years of technical engineering leadership, with 5+ years of experience in large scale distributed system development including hands on operational experience.
- Proven experience with full development life cycle for large-scale software products including extensive experience with service-oriented architectures, design patterns and web services.

This is a builder role, inventing solutions that meet our customer needs in a new space. General Duties & Responsibilities
- Leadership: Be an industry level thought leader in our domain, guide and mentor a high-performing engineering team with a passion for cloud-native principles, microservices architecture, and continuous delivery.
- Technology Vision: Define the platform’s technical roadmap and architecture, evangelizing best practices and aligning with business objectives. Stay ahead of industry trends and ensure our platform utilizes the latest advancements in cloud-native technologies.
- Delivery Excellence: As a hands-on architect, work closely with product management and your team to define the roadmap and support delivery. Drive high-quality code, excellent performance, and seamless scalability.
- Operational Excellence: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for system health, performance, and security. Lead efforts to prevent outages and ensure the platform’s continuous availability.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product, design, and other cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Ensure clear communication and alignment throughout the development process.
- Talent: Attract and retain top engineering talent. Foster a culture of learning and development, providing opportunities for growth and mentorship within the team.
