As VP Finance, you will be working primarily in the Central London Head Office of a dynamic and growing worldwide hotel franchise.
This is very much an advisory/ business/system support role, requiring a proven hotel finance background at above property/group level..

Reporting to the CFO, with a dotted line to each of the self - accounting hotels in the UK, Europe, USA and Asia, with a pipeline of new hotel openings to follow, the overall scope of this key role covers three main areas:

  • Oversight and Control of existing Finance Infrastructure, giving support when needed plus implementation for new openings.
  • Ensuring accurate Books and Records across the company.
  • Financial voice on all new processes and implementations, able to add value and ensure from a Financial aspect that everything works and doesn’t disrupt existing processes.

Key Tasks:

  • Maintain Financial Infrastructure – including new Users, troubleshooting, point of contact with providers, coordinating new opening set up.
  • Books and Records – Ensuring accurate Balance Sheets and Cashflows produced by hotels.
  • New Openings – Coordinate set up of Systems, investigate / liaise with colleagues of any new reporting requirements in that jurisdiction.
  • Audits – Support hotels where needed / actively work with auditors on 401K (US only) audit.
  • Forecasting – Coordinate timelines with hotels and initial reviews once complete, and then lock within Accounting system
  • Budgeting – Coordinate timelines in line with HMA obligations, liaise with hotels on recharges and fee changes
  • Short term DOF coverage (if needed)
  • Internal Reporting – support CFO with trading and forecast reporting of income streams, and reviews of any performance testing.
