We are ready to take this game to the next level and need a passionate Vice President, Infrastructure & Cloud Services to drive the technology infrastructure services for the enterprise. The role oversees reliable, recoverable, and cost-effective services including compute, storage, network (voice and data) Service Desk, End User Computing (including mobile and print), and IT service management. The role is accountable to drive modern practices with a focus on exploiting automation..
Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Chief Technology & Information Officer, you will be empowered to:
- Oversee the execution of the Technology Strategy related to the progressive maturation of the organization’s enterprise infrastructure and cloud platform approach with focus on exploitation of automation opportunities.
- Direct the development, operation and optimization of enterprise technology infrastructure services, ensuring a reliable and resilient technical landscape within a complex environment servicing both OLG and its service providers spanning many business locations.
- Accountable for the IT service management practice across OLG with specific leadership of the ITIL practice at OLG.
- Identify forward-looking opportunities for proactive technology response to service availability concerns and establishment of a site reliability engineering practice.
- Accountable for the management of all OLGs Technology assets including end user devices, application packaging and implementation of updated devices and applications for a high performing, efficient, standard and secure end user devices for OLGs workforce.
- Interact regularly with user functions to understand their evolving requirements and direct solutions for design/ upgrade/ implementation and provide insights and recommendations on technology investments and innovations that can drive operational efficiency.
- Direct the establishment, testing, maintenance, and policies related to disaster recovery and continuity to enable EIT to recover from technology outages and incidents.
- Develop and control the annual operating and capital expenditure budget for the department.
