Our Purpose
At Pexapark, we empower renewable energy players to thrive in post-subsidy markets. Keeping renewable investments attractive is our contribution to a more sustainable world.
The journey began in August 2017, when energy traders Michael Waldner and Luca Pedretti, together with software entrepreneur Florian Müller, set out with the purpose of accelerating the energy transition towards net zero by creating an efficient market for renewable energy.
We create transparency, standardise methodologies, and help to educate the industry. We also digitise the route to market and provide a complete software suite. Our vision is to be the Operating System that empowers renewable energy players to have an edge in post-subsidy markets.
The Role
We are looking for a creative, strategic-thinking & energetic VP Marketing with a profound understanding of price information and market intelligence business services, who can market such services to customers and generate revenue. The ideal leader will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record of driving growth, generating demand, leveraging all customer touchpoints, enhancing brand visibility, and leading high-performing teams to achieve ambitious business goals at scale.
This is a high-profile leadership role, owning all things marketing for Pexapark globally, and reporting to the CEO.

How will you help:

  • Nurture, coach and mentor our seasoned Team of marketers from SEO, Content, Events and Product Marketing for all company divisions.
  • Strategise, develop, and oversee Pexapark’s inbound marketing and demand generation engine, enhancing SEO, website engagement, content creation, and event participation to drive leads and optimise all conversion touchpoints.
  • Acting as a key partner to the sales operation and marketing operations teams to create a highly efficient marketing & sales funnel system.
  • Master the competitive landscape and evaluate market gaps.
  • Lead market research efforts to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape in the renewable energy market, particularly in relation to price reporting, software solutions and services.
  • Elevate Pexapark’s brand and market positioning by defining clear value propositions, target audiences, and compelling narratives, ensuring differentiation in the renewable energy market.
  • Act as the customers’ advocate and the voice of the market, synthesising customer feedback into actionable insights to inform segmentation, future product, sales, and packaging development, aiming to optimise the customer experience at every touchpoint.
  • Own the global marketing budget efficiently, fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and influencers, to strengthen Pexapark’s market presence and thought leadership.

What you’ll bring:

  • Extensive years of overall Marketing experience, with several years in a team management role within the information services sector or related industry.
  • An innovative and entrepreneurial mindset, with a track record of identifying and capitalising on new opportunities.
  • Passion for B2B Marketing Demand Generation, Content Marketing and SEO.
  • Deep understanding of the price reporting or market information landscape and ideally experience in marketing B2B SaaS products.
  • Capable of balancing the day-to-day operations of the marketing function, whilst leading long-term strategic initiatives focused on growth.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively across all levels, including C-level.
  • Experience in building, scaling, and managing inbound marketing and demand generation channels for B2B market information or SaaS companies.
  • Strategic level of thinking and view in regard to Marketing Automation (Pardot, Marketo, Hubspot etc.) and CRM (Salesforce) software. Able to design and deploy customer nurturing and qualification paths together with our marketing operations.
