As a member of the Product Fulfillment team and as a new Steelway family member, you will join a diverse, dynamic group of highly motivated individuals that bring with them a wide array of talents, skills and backgrounds.
As the VP of Operations (Manufacturing), you will lead and drive operational excellence within our manufacturing division. This crucial role requires an individual who will strategize and oversee the production processes, ensuring efficiency, quality, and adherence to industry standards.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in strategic planning and participate as a member of the Senior Leadership Team.
- Demonstrate a relentless obsession with our higher purpose, core values and our employee centred culture.
- Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with the company’s overall goals and objectives.
- Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring a safety culture, efficient resource allocation, budget management, and performance tracking.
- Train employees in the ISO system and execute the required procedures to maintain the ISO standard certification.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and operational efficiency enhancements.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate operational performance and drive strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align operations with sales, engineering, and project management functions to meet customer demands and achieve business targets.
- Develop and implement risk management and business continuity plans to mitigate operational disruptions.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
- Drive sustainability initiatives, minimizing the organization’s environmental impact while maximizing resource efficiency.
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and partners to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to drive innovation within the operations department.
- Host regular meetings with staff to discuss plans and address concerns.
