NeoGenomics is looking for a Vice President, Payor Strategy & Market Access who wants to continue to learn in order to allow our company to grow.

SUMMARY:

The Vice President, Payor Strategy and Market Access, reports to the President, Clinical Services Division, and is responsible for the establishment and execution of the payor, managed care, and medical policy initiatives in collaboration with strategic reimbursement strategy to ensure optimal coverage and maximize reimbursement.

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s Degree preferred
  • Five years’ Vice President-level experience and 10 years’ people management experience
  • Proven ability to work well with and influence peers, sales teams and management
  • Strong results orientation with a keen bias for action
  • Must thrive in ambiguity and have a passion for synthesizing the complex to determine priorities
  • Ability to travel up to 40%
  • Strong analytical competence and the ability to interpret large data sets
  • Existing relationships with key decision makers and influencers
  • Knowledge of capitation reimbursement methodology as applicable to manage care contracting, various market capitation rates and tactics for securing fee for service reimbursement in traditionally capitated environment

Responsibilities:

  • Leads the development and execution of the reimbursement strategy including Managed Care and Medical policy
  • Translates the broad corporate strategy into clear, specific, and actionable plans for the function
  • Develops and promotes the value proposition for NeoGenomics’s tests and services to gain market coverage with payors
  • Negotiates and manages, either directly or indirectly, with managed care providers to ensure the best possible reimbursement for tests and services
  • Influences reimbursement decisions through medical policy changes by providing compelling clinical and health economic data to payors and managed care organizations
  • Oversees appropriate coordination of companywide initiatives related to payor and provider activities and operational efficiency
  • Works cross-functionally to develop the market access and reimbursement strategy for new products

Experience:
