SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

  • 15+ years of HR/People Ops experience
  • Experience in working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, preferably a scale-up or high-growth company
  • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing HR initiatives that drive business results and enhance the employee experience
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop a high-performing team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Strategic thinker with a track record of translating business objectives into actionable HR plans and initiatives
  • Solid understanding of employment laws and regulations, with the ability to ensure compliance and mitigate risk across jurisdictions
  • Fluency in English, strong Finnish skills are a plus

ABOUT THIS ROLE

As the VP, People Operations, you will play a critical role in growing the team and shaping our organization’s talent strategy and employee experience. You will lead a talented team and work closely with senior leadership to develop and execute HR initiatives that support our business objectives and drive sustainable growth. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced people leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about building high-performing teams.
This role will be based in our office in Helsinki.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • People Strategy Implementation: Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and programs that align with the company’s strategic objectives and promote a positive employee experience
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the People Ops team, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities. Oversee all aspects of employee relations, including performance management, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions
  • Strategic HR Business Partner: Act as a strategic advisor to the leadership team on all people-related matters, providing insights and recommendations to drive business success and ensure compliance across jurisdictions
  • Hiring, Onboarding and Training: Manage the recruitment team to drive workforce planning and talent acquisition efforts. Oversee onboarding and training to ensure teams are high-performing and meet objectives
  • Operational Excellence: Scale People and Operational processes that will support ReOrbit’s growth from 50 to 100+ employees ensuring efficiency and consistency across the Company
  • Compensation and Benefits: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement compensation and benefits programs that attract, motivate, and retain top talent
