Responsibilities:
YOUR ROLE AT VALTECH
We are looking for a Strategy & Consulting leader to create and lead a Strategy & Consulting team in DACH (Germany & Switzerland).
To date we have relied on our consulting being based in SME practices distributed within our client delivery teams. As we seek to become our client’s trusted strategic partner, we recognise the need to build a market leading Strategic & consulting practice.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the ability to turn a commerce and/or experience technology engagement into a long-term strategic relationship that more deeply leverages our offerings and services.
The initial focus will be to build a team focussed on having Mobility and B2B manufacturing expertise coupled with domain expertise in Commerce and Experience.
You’ll be working closely with the MD, Head of Client Partnership and Head of Growth.
As part of the European Strategy Partner team you’ll take ownership of at least one regional initiative aimed at elevating and strengthening our strategic toolsets and practices.
YOUR ROLE WILL BE A THREE-FOLD ONE:
- Establishing a new strategy and consulting level across the DACH region as mentioned above
- Help growing existing clients through structured strategy inputs
- Help winning new clients through active participation in pitches taking ownership of all strategy deliverables
YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
- Leading multi-disciplinary teams, both on-site and off-site, to deliver client engagements swiftly while ensuring a clear and actionable strategy. Navigating internal structures to identify and mobilize top talent, collaborating with Growth Teams and leadership to understand client needs and industry trends. Building partnerships with third parties and identifying acquisition opportunities.
- Putting a business case in place and a way to track our effectiveness. Identifying and prioritising growth opportunities. Providing thought leadership and other ways to inspire clients. You’ll actively create a pipeline of strategic work and with the Client Partner manager communicating this to relevant teams, in a timely manner to ensure we have the best talent available.
- Leading pitches and proposal development from strategy point of view to ensure they are on strategy and are of the highest standard.
