About the role
The position is primarily responsible for providing a security presence whilst remaining alert and focused. You will be part of an enthusiastic, committed and customer focused team. This physically active role is responsible for the security and safety to our customers. Duties include but are not limited to:
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Enforce rules and bi-laws, including moving people on where necessary
- Perform incident reports and record occurrences where required
- Conduct foot patrols both internally and externally (requires you to walk up to 10 km per day)
- Extended periods of sitting and standing
- Respond professionally, courteously and promptly to all customer enquiries
- Interact positively with all campus personnel
- Protect assets of the university and follow site lock up procedures
- Respond to first aid enquiries
Skills and experience
- Certificate II in Security Operations & WA security license
- First Aid and CPR certificate
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Can- do attitude
- Full WA Driver’s License
