Our Waiter/ess will be required to provide our members with an attentive, exceptional and personalised service and look after their needs. You should be passionate about food and beverage service and help in assisting the smooth running of service. From the point of taking the order, delivering the dishes, to checking in with the guest where appropriate, you will be able to anticipate our members needs and create a smooth and seamless service throughout. You should uphold the highest standards and ensure the member experience is in line with our members club standards.

Responsibilities:

The key responsibilities for this role will include but are not limited to:

  • Creating an exceptional dining experience for members and their guests.
  • Presenting menu and provide detailed information when asked including allergens information.
  • Making sure all service mise en place is ready in advance; including table set-up, cutlery, napkins, salt and pepper filled, etc.
  • Meeting with restaurant colleagues to review daily specials, changes on the menu and service specifications for reservations.
  • Supporting, training, and developing any new members of the team and making them feel welcome.
  • Up-selling additional products as and when appropriate in a subtle and conversational manner.
  • Taking accurate food and drinks orders, using our till system, ordering slips or by memorisation as appropriate.
  • Checking dishes and dining utensils for cleanliness and presentation and reporting any problems to the culinary and management teams.
  • Presenting the bill and processing payments in line with our standards and SOP’s.
  • Arranging table settings and maintaining a tidy dining area.
  • Removing dirty items from tables to avoid clutter in a timely manner.
  • Feeling empowered making a decision that will enhance the member experience or defuse any complaints which may arise.
  • Adhering to all Health and Safety procedures particularly relating to food and beverage items.
