Description:
We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic ward clerk to join our friendly outpatient unit team on a permanent part time basis. This role will be for 18.75 hours/ week.
You will perform all necessary clerical and administrative duties for Haematology Chemotherapy Unit at Orsett Hospital.

Answer telephone calls and relay information to members of the team
Carry out general clerical/office duties including filing and photocopying
Liaise with other departments if required
Maintaining good communication with multi-disciplinary team
Answering general queries and enquiries and maintain records
Book appointments
Send information to GP’s and other support staff
Any other duties within the remit that is required by the ward manager
Maintain EPR and EMR, and admission documentation
Meeting and greeting anyone who enters the unit in a calm and friendly manner and offering assistance if required
