Description:

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Maternity Ward Clerk. This role is a great fit for passionate and dedicated individuals to support in leading the department to excellence.
This is a full-time position, working on a rota basis covering a service that operates on a 24 hour service 7 days a week including weekday, weekend and bank holiday. We encourage everyone to apply even if there is no prior NHS experience as full training is provided on appointment.
You will be providing a comprehensive administrative service in support of the multidisciplinary team, using a professional and customer-centred approach to all patients and their families who are undergoing care at The Princess Alexandra Hospital.
This will be a support role based in the Maternity Wards.
You will be the first point of contact for patients, visitors and staff and ensure high standards of administration and patient experience.
Creating clinic appointments and keeping patient records accurate and up to date.
Ensure the accurate entry and updating of patient details and patient hospital episodes onto the Electronic Patient record system (EPR)
