Whangarei Hospital – Permanent full and part time options available
We have a great opportunity for highly motivated administrators to join the team at Whangarei Hospital as Ward Clerks for the Child Health Services. These new roles will provide efficient clerical support, data entry and reception responsibilities to the Neonatal and Paediatric Units.
Our service operates between 8.00am and 8.30pm 7 days a week and you will be required to work rostered shifts.
This role will liaise with the nursing team, Child Health Services and other internal clinical/non-clinical teams ensuring the administration needs of the Neonatal and Paediatric Units are delivered in a professional and timely manner.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Previous administrative and organisational experience
  • Excellent computer skills, including good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal including an excellent telephone manner
  • Adaptability and multi-tasking skills
  • Strong customer service focus
    Previous experience working within a health service is desirable, however not essential to apply.
