Ward Manager

The post holder will have 24 hour responsibility for the ward-Management of all the ward team, accountable for off duty, staffappraisal, recruitment and selection and supervision of junior staff,including student nurses.- Take charge of the ward-Required to carry out a range of tasks involving direct and indirect carefor the benefit of the patient/client in accordance with agreed protocolsincluding.-Patient admissions-Care plans-Delivery of care plans-Discharge plans-Supervision of others in carrying out the above-Authorised signatory for off duties, bank sheets etc.-Investigate incidents and complaints-Responsible for ensuring that all policies and procedures are observed,and meet Cwm Taf Morgannwg UHB requirements.
