The Women’s Health ward cares for patients undergoing elective and non -elective surgical procedures for gynaecology and breast. The opportunity has arisen to join our dynamic team for a one year fixed term secondment.
The successful post holder will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.This is a really exciting time to be a Sister/Charge Nurse in this speciality. You will lead and drive forward this nationally renowned service and be pivotal in improving the pathways for our patient group.
To be a top Sister or Charge Nurse you will require a strong sense of ownership of your clinical area and demonstrate leadership qualities as a role model to our nursing workforce. You will be honest and approachable, able to work as part of a team, and work in a fast paced environment whilst consistently providing high standards of patient care.
The job isn’t for everyone but for those who have the right strengths and motivators it is energizing and rewarding.
This setting offers huge potential to further develop your clinical, leadership and management skills. Applicants will have demonstrable post registration experience in an acute hospital setting and preferably a real passion for Women’s Health services.
Successful candidates must be friendly and enthusiastic with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
