DESCRIPTION

Your hours of work shall vary and are dependent on the distribution Centre opening times, (between 6:00am and 10:00pm). You shall be required to work 5 days a week Monday to Friday, (37.5 hrs per week) a reasonable amount of Overtime is required when requested.
Ensure all orders are accurately and efficiently picked and packed on time and to customer
requirements and quality standards.
Collaborating with management to create and maintaining SOP’s.
The admin role is a fundamental part of the warehouse structure and as such a level of interchangeability can sometimes be required to support peak demand, absence or holiday cover for other colleagues. Therefore, a flexible approach to shift pattern and the willingness to cross train in other areas is essential.

  • Advanced knowledge about D365 system is preferable
  • Advanced knowledge about picking packing procedures
  • Experience in a similar role is advantageous

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Shift Manager in preparing for the upcoming 7-day period, considering priorities, due dates and booking in time constraints. Collaborating with the Inventory section leader to proactively identify possible stock location shortages to maintain efficient pick rates.
  • Fully understand all aspects of the pick/pack procedures, ensuring all orders are picked efficiently and accurately and packed to the correct packing requirement standards. Pick and pack teams are efficiently deployed across channels considering priority and workload.
  • Allocating work orders picks
  • Providing instructions to a small team of warehouse operatives
  • Problem solving and investigating issues.
  • Liaising with other teams to resolve any potential issues.
  • Assist shift manager in achieving daily goals of department.
  • Corresponding through the email about all picking and packing enquires
  • Assisting the department manager with administrative paperwork and IT work
  • Ensure internal communication of order information within the organisation.
  • Prioritize work to ensure all orders are picked and packed efficiently.
  • During periods of annual leave, you may be required to provide additional support outside of the normal duties, this will be discussed with you as and when business need requires.
