Responsibilities:
In this pivotal role, you will have the responsibility of overseeing and leading the Warehouse and Logistics function, along with its team. Your primary objective will be to ensure the efficient execution and management of Warehouse and Logistics activities, providing essential support to the Coronado Curragh operation and the complete value chain of associated entities. This will be a 3-month fixed term position.
Reporting to the Vice President Financial Control, the key to success in this role includes:
- Undertake the development, implementation, maintenance, and continuous evaluation of the Warehousing and Logistics framework, and the associated policies and processes the underpin it
- Guarantee the integrity of functional processes, procedures, and templates, and take the necessary measures to ensure their currency by implementing improvements as required
- Assume leadership of the logistics, warehousing, and inventory management function, along with the associated team, while also overseeing the contract administration of suppliers
- Ensure that all employees in the department demonstrate and adhere to high levels of customer service, aiming to achieve best practices and drive high-performance business outcomes
- Consistently strive to challenge, engineer, and implement continuous improvement and innovation across all aspects of the role, including interactions with suppliers
- Engage in the development, mentoring, and motivation of the team, as well as cross-functional stakeholders, utilising feedback and other effective strategies to foster growth and collaboration
