Description:
Our client is a successful and rapidly expanding manufacturing organisation specialising in the medical and healthcare sector. With a large team of around 70 staff, this position will be responsible for assisting with the daily operations of the warehouse.
Working closely with the Warehouse Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring compliance with the company’s policies and vision
- Overseeing receiving, warehousing, distribution operations
- Adhering to all warehousing, handling and shipping requirements
- Maintaining standards of health and safety, hygiene and security
- Managing stock control and BIN locations
- Liaising with production, suppliers and transport companies
To be considered for this position you will have:
- Prior warehousing experience within the Pharmaceutical or raw materials handling / sampling or similar is a must
- Current forklift license
- Good computer skills ideally with prior experience with SAP (or other ERP) is essential
- Able to work independently however also work well with a team environment, with high attention to detail
This is a full time permanent position Mondays to Fridays 38 hours per week with hours being either 6.00am to 2.00pm or 2.00pm to 10.00pm. The salary guide is up to $70,000 + Super dependent on experience.
