Warehouse Assistant

Our client is one of the largest importers, distributors, and machinists of thermoplastic stock shapes, polyurethane and conveyor components in Australia and New Zealand. They deliver excellent customer service and advice supported by a high level of technical expertise.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Previous customer service experience and the ability to build rapport with customers.
• High level of physical fitness.
• Warehouse experience in manufacturing/engineering.
• MOJ background check.
• Good numeracy and literacy skills.
• Ability to work well in a team environment and think on your feet.

THE ROLE:

This position is a hybrid of customer service/office work while also working in the warehouse assisting with inward/outward goods, pick packing and stock taking. You will eventually learn how to operate the CNC machine and assist with production work as required. Every day will look slightly different, so we are after someone adaptable with experience in manufacturing preferred who thrives in a busy environment.

DUTIES INCLUDE:

• Processing sales orders.
• Face to face and phone bases customer service.
• Ordering all warehouse and consumables.
• Daily warehouse operations including pick packing orders.
• Maintain stock counts.
