Warehouse Associate

at  AMSOIL

AMSOIL INC. is hiring a Warehouse Associate at our distribution center located in Itasca, Illinois. As a Warehouse Associate you will pick, pack, and ship all outbound AMSOIL orders. You will also interact with customers on a daily basis who pick up their orders. The work schedule for this position is Monday through Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to learn and operate a forklift (training received on the job)
• Ability to continuously lift 35 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 70 lbs.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Available 40 hrs/wk, Monday – Friday 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. with occasional overtime

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• At least 1 year of warehouse experience
• Experience using RF scanner or other barcode scanning system
• Customer service experience

• Pick and pack out bound shipments using handheld scanning device (RF scanner)
• Provide a high level of customer service and assist with loading orders into customer vehicles
• Assist with warehouse inventory control procedures
• Perform daily computer work related to order processing and shipping systems
• Complete routine cleaning of warehouse
