Job Description
Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, the Warehouse Associate will be working closely with the rest of our Operations Team at the Kellogg facility. The primary responsibilities include loading, unloading, sorting, and moving products to ensure accurate and timely shipment of products for our customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Pick, pack, and ship orders and shipments. Eaches, cases, pallets, ecomm, B2B, B2C, FL, LTL as required.
  • Unload trucks and containers by hand or using equipment, receive, label, sort, quality check and putaway per SOPs.
  • Process returns, inventory counting, packaging, cleaning, maintenance or any other warehouse functions as required.
  • Ensure all customer requirements, guidelines, SLA’s, and KPI’s are met regarding on time delivery, packing, labeling, and routing.
  • Coordinate and organize appointments, routing, transportation, and schedules using online portals, email, or phone as needed.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with customers, carriers, and vendors.
  • Verify the accuracy of transactions, using RF scan guns, WMS platforms and various software programs.
  • Generate and audit shipping documents as required, including BOL, Commercial Invoice, Labels, etc.
  • Manage dock traffic and load and unload containers and trucks.
  • Use Microsoft Dynamics NAV, 3PL Central, and carrier websites as needed.
  • Investigate and reconcile shipping, receiving and inventory discrepancies.
  • Participate in warehouse safety, cleanliness, and maintenance.
  • Fill in other roles to support the Operations team upon request.
  • Other duties as required.

Qualifications

What we are looking for:

  • 5+ years of experience operating a Counterbalance and Reach forklift is mandatory.
  • 3+ years of experience in order picking for ecommerce fulfillment is required.
  • WHMIS training is required.
  • Ability to stand for 8+ hours a day.
  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
  • Previous experience with inventory and cycle counting is an asset.
  • Great customer service attitude.
  • Ability to work both individually and as part of a team.
