We are seeking a Full-Time Warehouse Associate to join the team at our Watertown location.

PHYSICAL CAPABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds at a time.
  • Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time.
  • Moderate amounts of grasping, fingering and repetitive motion.
  • Physical stamina for loading/unloading products.
  • Flexibility and agility to bend, stoop, and reach.
  • Must have a sufficient visual acuity to determine accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of work.
  • Understand the speech of another person. Speak clearly so listeners can understand.
  • Sufficient normal limits of hearing.

Stan Houston a wide range of construction equipment, including aerial lifts, excavators, loaders, and more. In addition, Stan Houston offers rental equipment as well as parts and service for all types of construction equipment.
    Watertown store hours are Monday to Friday 7:00am-5:00pm

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a general understanding of construction materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Receive incoming shipments, inspecting, and verifying their contents to purchase orders or invoices.
  • Unload and unpack materials or equipment, ensuring accuracy and proper storage.
  • Prepare outgoing shipments by locating and packing shipments accordingly.
  • Prepare customer orders from items stocked in warehouse or on the store floor.
  • Assist Outside Sales in verifying and invoicing their delivery orders.
  • Load materials or equipment onto vehicles or prepare them for shipping.
  • Perform inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records using the computerized inventory software system.
  • Organize and arrange products in designated locations, optimizing space utilization.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts to identify discrepancies and reconcile inventory records.
  • Assist in resolving order discrepancies or customer complaints related to product issues or shipping errors.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment by following company policies and procedures.
  • Keep aisles clear, shelves properly maintained, and walkways free of hazards.
  • Safely operate and maintain warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand tools.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient warehouse operations.
  • Offer support and assistance to coworkers during peak periods or in their absence.
