Job Summary:
Reporting into the Warehouse Supervisor, the Warehouse Associate is responsible for loading, unloading, shipping, receiving, and stocking packages inside trailers within a warehouse environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Load or unload materials, stock or pile materials in a designated area.
- Ensure work is done safely and in accordance with the company’s safety policy.
- Pick the orders accurately
- Schedule core carrier or courier to deliver shipment
- Receive all orders and check for any visible damage or shortages
- loading and unloading containers and trucks with forklift
- Follow established safety procedures during all off-loading
- Keeping a tidy and organized work area (warehouse)
- Measuring and cutting of wood and metal
- Use of power tools/forklift
