We are seeking a energetic and skilled Warehouse Clerk to work in our Penn Yan location. Prior shipping and receiving experience preferable.
We operate 24 / 7, 7 days per week. This opportunity will require flexibility to work weekends and overtime when required. Ample notice is provided.
Main function: The incumbent is expected to perform repetitive daily administrative tasks and respond to requests specific to the Warehouse department.
Schedule: Monday to Friday | 7AM - 3PM
The expected compensation range for this position is: $21.00/hour.

Responsibilities:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND KNOWLEDGE:
- High School Diploma / GED required
- Minimum 1 year of warehouse and forklift experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong computer skills, ability to navigate through multiple systems
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2-3 years’ experience or equivalent employment experience preferred

Responsibilities:
RESPONSIBILITIES RELATED TO THE JOB:
- Coordinate KanPak Quality activities and operations to meet objective for quality, food safety, integrity, regulatory compliances, cost, safety and customer satisfaction at KanPak
- Participate in formulating and administering division’s short and long range goals and objectives for business growth
- Greet, direct, and assist inbound/outbound drivers upon their arrival at the facility and must be able to identify and diffuse difficult situations.
- Answer delivery door for FedEx and UPS, assist the driver with unloading the truck, and receive parcels.
- Verify inbound and outbound paperwork, process via PaperSave system and file.
- Accurately identify leaking pallets to appropriate personnel and provide leaker count.
- Submit Inventory Control documentation to Supply Chain daily.
- Respond to all customer emails timely.
- Any other duties as assigned.
