Materials Dispatch - Stores
The Stores Team at NanoAnalysis are seeking a Materials Dispacther to join the Team. The primary purpose of this role, is to ensure timely dispatch of goods from the factory.
Key responsibilities: Weekly Ordering of packing materials Preparing and Packing orders daily ready for dispatch Un/loading orders on and off vehicles Forklift licence. Signing documentation and general labelling of goods Good Knowledge of computer skills with Inputting data onto a database General Housekeeping
General responsbilities: Document management recording measurement and weight Matching detector to orders and liaising with the shipping department when required. Loading data onto excel packing list and maintenance of records to comply with data handling requirements. Maintain checks on stock to ensure continuous supply of packing material. General handling duties as required and in particular with courier companies. Daily preparing and packing orders ready for dispatch and using forklift to load incoming vehicles. Operate at all times in accordance with health & safety at work legislation and conducting weekly
forklift checks and reports. Identify opportunities to improve systems and procedures and minimise or eliminate time wastage Maintain an understanding of the concepts, techniques and requirements of your job Ensure that work is complete, timely, accurate, thorough and useful Undertake any other tasks or responsibilities in line with the scope and level of responsibility of the post, which might reasonably be required. Good knowledge of computer skills including Excel ,emails and loading data onto a database
