Warehouse Lead (Cargo Transportation) – West Area

OUR CLIENT IS A MNC COMPANY IN THE TRANSPORTATION INDUSTRY. DUE TO THEIR CURRENT EXPANSION PLAN, THEY ARE LOOKING FOR A WAREHOUSE LEAD TO JOIN THEIR LOGISTICS TEAM, IN HOPES OF DEVELOPING THE CURRENT HIGH PERFORMING TEAM. THEY ARE LOCATED IN THE WEST – EASILY ACCESSIBLE.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the management of multiple warehouses comprising of outdoor/indoor spaces, along with a team of warehouse personnel
• Ensure adherence to various legal and industry standards related to warehousing, material handling, shipping, and safety
• Lead several teams responsible for material handling, customer service, and records management, ensuring seamless coordination of warehousing and distribution operations
• Collaborate with company’s key stakeholders to plan workflow and implement improvement initiatives
• Establish/Oversee security measures to safeguard the various warehouse operations and assets
• Ensure inventory accuracy through regular checks when needed, aligning with the company’s data system
• Manage the condition of warehousing spaces, inspecting the various equipment, and overseeing repair and maintenance processes
• Recruit and train warehouse personnel to maintain a competent company workforce

• Provide guidance and support to warehouse personnel through coaching and performance monitoringAll other adhoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in any relevant field of studies
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience
• Experienced in handling cargo transportation
