  • Comprehensive knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory systems.
  • Computer Literacy (Microsoft suite).
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise workload.
  • Effective Team Leader, with excellent interpersonal skills, able to develop positive relationships.
  • Confident approach, passion, and attention to detail especially when managing deadlines.
  • Visual Communications, Signage or Print Background preferable but not essential.
  • Facilities Management skill would also be favourable but not essential.

Responsibilities:

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for a dynamic and motivated warehouse and logistics manager to join our team. This is a fantastic chance to work for a company that has the mix of being enjoyable, yet high-paced and professional work environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and manage the warehouse and logistics team to ensure each department operates smoothly and efficiently.
  • Liaise with the Senior Leadership team to develop and implement new system, processes, and procedures to drive cost effectiveness.
  • Mentor and develop the team to help optimize performance.
  • Ensure the Delta Groups Health & Safety Policy is always adhered to.
  • Have a clear communication channel with the various Production teams to ensure all tasks are carried out as per our clients’ requirements.
  • Oversee Goods In, Warehouse, Goods Out, Transport, QC, stock control and internal logistics.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with our suppliers.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with our clients RDCs and warehouses.
  • Managing and Co-ordinating Agency Staff when required.
  • Manage regular stock takes and stock movement reports.
