Polyaire, an international manufacturer and wholesale distributor of air conditioning products, is seeking a Warehouse Manager to join our team in Gepps Cross. With 27 branches across Australia and over 50 years of industry experience, we are leaders in providing sustainable comfort through innovative Air Touch solutions and Smart Home technologies.
QUALIFICATIONS/ATTRIBUTES:
- A trade certificate or knowledge gained through sound practical experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Client and safety-focused and results-driven.
- Demonstrate ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high attention to detail.
- Hold a current forklift license with a good driving record.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily warehouse operations: receiving, storing, inventory management, order fulfilment, and shipping.
- Lead and manage warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance management.
- Ensure accurate inventory levels and conduct regular stock checks.
- Maintain a safe work environment and enforce safety regulations.
- Implement efficiency improvements and cost-saving measures.
- Ensure quality control of products during handling and storage.
- Maintain warehouse equipment in good working condition.
- Coordinate timely and accurate shipments.
- Keep accurate records of inventory and transactions.
- Collaborate with customer service to resolve warehouse-related issues.
