REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven track record of leadership, preferably in a warehouse role
  • A solid understanding of warehouse and fulfilment operations, including inventory management and order processing.
  • Strong verbal and a great attention to detail
  • Skilled in excel and relevant Warehouse Management Systems WMS

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans for warehouse operations aligned with the overall business objectives. Collaborate with senior management to set performance goals and metrics.
  • Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for process improvement, efficiency gains, and cost savings within the warehouse. Implement best practices to streamline workflows and enhance operational effectiveness.
  • Team Development: Recruit, train, and mentor warehouse staff to ensure a high-performing and motivated team. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
  • Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting regular safety audits. Implement and enforce safety protocols to create a secure working environment.
  • Quality Assurance: Enforce quality control standards to ensure accurate picking, packing, and shipping of products. Implement rigorous inspection processes to maintain the highest quality standards.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Collaborate with customer service teams to meet customer expectations in terms of order accuracy and on-time delivery. Address and resolve customer complaints or issues related to warehouse operations.
