Our Warehouse Manager Opportunity
Responsibilities:
Based at our Warehouse & Tyre Distribution facility and reporting into the Hub Manager the Warehouse Manager plays a vital role, responsible for the leadership of their department and team of warehouse colleagues who will be receiving, handling, storing and picking high volumes of customer orders for onwards delivery. This is an excellent opportunity to take full ownership of all site based warehousing operations as part of the senior site leadership team.
What you will be doing
- Providing expert leadership, motivation and direction to the department, direct reports, team and support colleagues, able to continually develop and improve performance
- Delivering consistently high levels of service across all areas of the Warehouse Operation to include inbound, replenishment, picking, loading & dispatch – always within an efficient, safe and compliant environment
- Working collaboratively with all site managers: Transport, Inventory, Facilities as well as UK hub network management teams, sharing knowledge, improving service delivery
- Applying sound commercial acumen to resource planning, MHE utilisation, able to reduce waste and cost from all areas of the department
