POSITION OVERVIEW:

True Classic is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee our returns facility in El Monte, CA. The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for managing the efficient receipt, disposition, storage and timely fulfillment of returned product, ensuring accuracy, efficiency and cost optimization. This is a supervisory role which promotes a culture of professionalism, collaboration and support for both an in-house and outsourced workforce.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience (3+ years) as a warehouse manager or in a similar role
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and supervise a diverse team
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English, with the ability to effectively communicate in both languages
  • Proficiency in inventory management and Google Sheets
  • Knowledge of warehouse safety regulations and best practices
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Forklift certification (preferred)
  • Experience working with product returns or reverse logistics (preferred)

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the returns warehouse, ensuring smooth functioning of all processes
  • Receive returned items, identify the SKU, quality inspect and proper disposition of the garments (resell, donate, scrap)
  • Organize and manage the storage of returned items while maintaining accurate inventory records
  • Recommend and implement efficient processes (i.e. assembly line) that maximizes productivity, while minimizing waste
  • Create KPIs in Google Sheets that track the daily volume processed by product type and disposition
  • Determine staffing needs based on the worker capacity constraints in relation to the expected returns volumes. Returns should be processed within 2 to 3 business days of receipt
  • Process earmarked “high-value” returns in an expedited fashion (max 1 business day of delivery) within the designated returns portal
  • Implement and maintain warehouse safety protocols, ensuring a safe working environment for all staff
  • Train and supervise warehouse staff, including an Assistant Warehouse Manager and temporary workers
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse, adhering to company standards
  • Communicate regularly with management regarding warehouse performance, challenges, and opportunities for improvement
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as customer service and logistics, to resolve issues and improve the overall customer experience
  • Uphold compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices
