The Opportunity
Join a nationally recognised company specialising in the manufacturing and distribution of FMCG goods. Renowned for their high levels of service and well known products, this organisation is seeking a Warehouse Operations Manager to join their team on a permanent full time basis located at their site in the beautiful Adelaide Hills.
In this role, you will manage the warehouses for all stock movements inwards and outwards on a daily basis. With a strong focus on continuous improvements, production levels, product availability, and preparation of customer orders. This role is ideal for warehousing and manufactuing professionals eager to advance their careers to the next level.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee multiple warehouses and operations, supervise labour to meet load in and load out goals
  • Allocate resources for safe loading and unloading, adhering to health & safety rules
  • Manage end-to-end warehouse and production processes
  • Supervise and schedule warehouse staff and daily tasks
  • Coordinate with subcontractors for vessel unloading and avoid delays
  • Implement new warehouse storage plan
  • Track and manage receipt, storage, and timely loading of goods
  • Order supplies and maintain inventory levels
  • Verify accuracy of orders, bills, inventory, and deliveries
  • Ensure compliance with maintenance standards and safety regulations

Selection Criteria

  • Prior experience in warehouse management or operations management
  • FMCG Manufacturing experience is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of WHS practices
  • Be able to communicate and effectively and confidently lead in a team environment
  • Demonstrate resilience and enthusiastic to learn new skills in a supportive fast-paced environment
  • Prior experience in chemical manufacturing is an advantage
  • A valid Forklift Licence is an advantage, but not essential
