Warehouse Operative

Pay Rate: £30,061.39
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: Monday - Friday 1.00pm- 11.20pm
Location: Redhill (RH1 5EH)

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?

• Experience working in a warehouse environment/ drinks industry ie. Kegs - desirable
• This role entails heavy lifting
• Also you will need to be IT literate
• Fork lift truck license is desirable

WHAT ABOUT YOUR ROLE?

As a DHL Supply Chain Colleague, you will be playing your part in keeping the world moving by accurately picking and sorting packages for our customers. We need you to:

• Undertake the manual handling, distribution and monitoring of materials in a bulk storage and warehouse environment.
• Unloading of vehicles and the checking in of stock. Sorting and placing materials or items on to racks, and shelves.
• Be responsible for picking specified items from storage or warehouses and prepare them for shipment.
• Pick and pack products which includes unboxing, labelling, re-boxing and stacking products on pallets.
