THE OPPORTUNITY

Leavitt Machinery is looking for a motivated Warehouse Products Sales Specialist to join our team in Coquitlam, British Columbia. Within this role, you will be responsible for building a customer base in your territory, driving sales, and increasing market share in the region.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, knowledge, and competencies:

  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of successful experience selling electric forklifts / warehouse solutions strongly preferred, or equivalent work experience and education
  • Post-secondary education in Business Administration or a related field is preferred
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Prior knowledge and use of a CRM a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong negotiation skills and a customer service mindset
  • Valid drivers license required

Responsibilities:

As the Warehouse Products Sales Specialist your key responsibilities will include:

  • Achieving sales objectives for new and used equipment within a designated territory, with the goal of increasing market share
  • Leveraging prospecting techniques, including cold calling, networking, scheduling follow-ups, and qualifying leads
  • Building and managing effective relationships with key customers
  • Utilizing the CRM and other online resources to maintain an accurate account of sales activity information
  • Directly supervising or facilitating the resolution of customer disputes
  • Conducting product demonstrations and sales presentations in a professional manner
  • Articulating features, benefits, and product solutions that are in line with customer needs
