Description:
RECEIVING ASSOCIATE:
We are currently searching for team members to join our Receiving department in our Lawrence, Kansas distribution center. Candidates must have current forklift certification and a demonstrated history of forklift experience. The candidate must also have experience conducting inventory transactions with an RF gun, as well as experience using a WMS (AS400 preferred). The most important qualities we are looking for in a candidate is a team player who is dependable, has a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and the ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment. This position will work Monday thru Friday from 8:00am - 4:30pm.
Starting salary: $21/hr.
Responsibilities:
- Receiving of all inbound shipments using a fork truck or slipper to unload pallets from trucks.
- Confirm inbound shipments and reconcile shipments against BOL’s, PO’s and invoices.
- Report discrepancies in BOL’s and PO’s.
- Use an RF gun to process inventory transactions and movements.
- Put away and consolidate inbound shipments into designated warehouse location.
- Sorts and places materials or items on pallet racks and shelves.
- Perform product rotation to ensure FIFO and product processes.
- Uses computer to enter records
- Maintains a clean work
Qualifications:
- Must have relevant fork lift experience
- Must be able to report for and complete all assigned shifts
- Must be able to stand/walk continuously for 8+ hours
- Must be able to perform tasks efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to communicate and interact well with coworkers and managers
- Must be able to work in a non-temperature-controlled environment. Temperatures in our warehouse may vary between seasons.
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Employment contingent upon passing pre-employment drug screening
