Description:

JOB DESCRIPTION

Our client, a distributor of construction materials is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to join their team in Kingston. The Warehouse Supervisor will supervise the warehousing team and will pick, pack, and receive orders.
Hours of work: 8:00am - 5:00pm.
Location: Kingston
Salary: $50,000 + overtime
Working Arrangement: Full-time permanent.
Benefits: Health, Vision, Dental and Pension Plan.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support the warehouse team.
  • Picking orders in a correct and efficient manner.
  • Packing and wrapping orders.
  • Receiving product with diligence and accuracy.
  • Shipping orders by creating bills of lading, and calling in carriers.
  • Accurately entering all addresses and shipping references. Utilizing the most appropriate carriers according to service level.
  • Operation of Forklift and other equipment.
  • Customer pickups, facility touring, and customer calls.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ year of warehouse receiving and material handling experience.
  • 1+ year of experience in warehouse supervision or equivalent.
  • Computer and keyboarding skills.
  • Computer literacy with Microsoft Office.

Additional Information

  • Lifting Frequently up to 100 pounds.
  • Carrying Frequently up to 80 pounds.
  • Pushing/Pulling Frequently up to 200 pounds.
