Chandler Macleod is seeking an enthusiastic Warehouse Supervisor/ Cook and Fresh Backup Planner, who is responsible for the primarily responsible for planning of production scheduling manufacturing and ordering of consumables, ingredients, and packaging. This position requires forecasting skills, analytical skills and the person holding the position needs to be decisive to achieve meeting customer requirements.
The position reports regularly on processing performance to the Operations Manager and plans and implements any corrective action resulting from the review.

The primary functions of this role, including but are not limited to.

  • Prompt and correct decisions regarding processing operations are made as and when requested by Management.
  • Assistance is given to all Production Supervisors so that they have a full understanding of the KPI’s that apply to their section.
  • To ensure that any concerns raised regarding measurement and weights of product are acted on in a prompt manner.
  • Implement on the companies Quality and GMP program through support, procedures, implementation and training programs
  • Supervising and limiting absenteeism, labour turnover, customer complaints.
  • Assist the company to improve in the areas of Safety, Environmental, Quality and Compliance.
  • Executing the Food Safety and Quality Culture procedure through day-to-day work in a safe
  • manner and driving production of safe products that are fit for consumption in accordance with legislative

Your required competencies (Knowledge, Skills & Experience)

Experience

  • Knowledge of food processing industry, especially food safety /HACCP principles
  • Detailed knowledge of products and processes on-site
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Ability to make quick and correct decisions “on the job
  • A knowledge of quality systems, HACCP procedures and understanding of how day to day activities

Salary on offer for this role is $80K - $85k +superannuation.
