Description:
One of our manufacturing clients is looking for a Warehouse Supervisor in St Thomas, ON.
Shift - Days/Afternoon
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- 3-5 years of warehouse related supervisor experience (automotive).
- Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience as a warehouse supervisor or in a similar role within the automotive industry.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics.
- Familiarity with automotive parts and products.
- Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software.
- Understanding of safety regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $75,000.00-$85,000.00 per year

Responsibilities:
- Supervision and Leadership:
- Lead, supervise, and motivate warehouse staff to achieve operational goals.
- Conduct regular team meetings, provide training, and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Inventory Management:
- Oversee inventory control procedures, including receiving, storing, and issuing automotive parts.
- Implement systems to maintain accurate stock levels, conduct regular stock counts, and reconcile any discrepancies.
- Order Fulfillment:
- Coordinate with other departments to prioritize and fulfill customer orders in a timely manner.
- Monitor order picking and packing processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Logistics Coordination:
- Collaborate with logistics partners and carriers to coordinate inbound and outbound shipments.
- Optimize transportation routes and manage the scheduling of deliveries and pickups.
- Quality Control:
- Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure the accuracy and condition of automotive parts.
- Investigate and resolve any issues related to damaged or defective products.
- Safety Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and guidelines in the warehouse.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and promote a culture of safety among warehouse personnel.
- Equipment Maintenance:
- Oversee the maintenance and proper use of warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Coordinate repairs and servicing as needed.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, transactions, and shipping/receiving activities.
- Generate regular reports on warehouse performance, including key metrics and KPIs.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement efficiency-enhancing measures.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline operations and reduce costs.
- Communication:
- Foster clear communication channels within the warehouse team and with other departments.
- Address any issues or concerns promptly and professionally.
