Responsibilities:

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

To manage all Lubes movements and inventory within the lubes warehouse in order to contribute to the efficient running of the Distribution Centre. Maintain housekeeping and equipment in good working conditions to ensure reliable operations to meet customer needs, while maximising the company’s profits and minimizing costs. Foster and cultivate a safety culture that leads to and sustains incident-free operations.

WHAT YOU’LL HAVE DONE BEFORE:

Baseline:

  • NQF Level 4 (Grade 12/Matric or Equivalent)
  • 5 years Experience in Warehouse/Distribution Environment
  • Operational Experience & Knowledge of Warehouse Systems (SAP, EWM, ISA Store Systems)
  • Above Average Computer Skills (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Working Knowledge of applicable Machine Handling Equipment & loading methods of products on trucks
  • Knowledge of Lubes product range
  • Understanding of Engen’s internal policies & procedures

Advantageous:

  • NQF Level 6 (Warehouse/Transportation)
  • Working knowledge of supply chain logistics

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

  • Ensure receipt, storage and handling of lubes is done according to prescribed processes and standards.
  • Ensure the distribution of lubes to customers is within the agreed SLA.
  • Planned resourcing for product receipt and dispatching.
  • Ensure Delivery Plan is achieved today’s business today
  • Ensures the Distribution Warehouse is ready for EWM and SAP4 Hana transition and thereafter maintain and monitor the processes implemented
  • Safe movement of products in line with Warehouse Procedures and Engen Vision
  • Assist in Monthly physical inventory count.
  • Good records maintained
  • Ensures execution of safe, efficient, and incident free operation.
  • Ensures compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements and all applicable HSEQ policies
