The opportunity: Our client, a global leader in food service distribution, is expanding its operations in Newcastle West and is looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor (Evening shift) to join their team.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and ensure compliance with all warehouse and delivery processes
  • Support cross-shift management in monitoring performance standards and improvements
  • Maintain facility hygiene and maintenance to the highest standards
  • Manage health and safety, incident reporting, and investigations
  • Ensure adherence to and management of security procedures
  • Oversee the maintenance and correct usage of equipment and MHE

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of various roles, including driver, shunter, trunker, loader, selector, receiving, and FLT functions
  • Excellent understanding of internal transport and compliance procedures, including Department of Transport regulations
  • Flexibility in working hours
  • Ability to work independently
  • Clean attendance, punctuality, disciplinary, and health and safety record
  • Security-conscious with excellent organizational and people skills
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
