Description:

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Ensure the cost-effective inventory management of all goods.
  • Extract, combine, analyse raw data to produce the relevant stock-on-hand vs variance reports to the relevant stakeholders.
  • Oversee the stock management data process – between the DC and stores.
  • Ensure highest level of data integrity.
  • Report and scorecard stock distribution performance utilizing internal databases.
  • Knowledge in monitoring the accuracy and completeness of data and regularly validating it against credible data sources.
  • Ability to create an environment where Business may quickly and easily access data and data analysis, ensuring that data processes are continuously maintained and kept up to date.
  • Extract and validate data that goes into CRM / Shopify integrated systems.
  • Oversee the collation of data resulting from the stock taking process.
  • Facilitating with the ageing of stock to ensure clarification of current vs previous season inputs.
  • Execute standardized reporting and ad-hoc analysis (manual counts, high value counts and put measures in place to mitigate losses in high risk stores).
  • Provide input for risk and opportunity management by evaluating the current business (at store format and dc level) from both a quantitative and qualitative perspective.
  • Report all stock outs to DC management, sales and Planning as well as liaise with planning to resolve any stock issues.
  • Plan correct storage location for products in liaison with the DC Manager/ Inventory Clerk (ABC Analysis)
  • Plan and create Physical Inventory Documents for monthly stock counts as well as reduce write-offs and losses to a minimum.
  • Knowledge of adherence to product recall policy.
  • Perform all administration and reporting effectively.
  • Ability to accurately conduct daily and monthly physical inventory counts- DC and stores.
  • Ability to generate and action pre-stock take reports.
  • Ensure that physical stock count is uploaded on Shopify.

The Senior stock administrator will also have the following responsibilities (including but not limited to):

  • Data Analysis
  • Process Automation and business reporting
  • Data preparation, modelling, and analysis.
  • Reviews of collections reporting across all payment modalities.
  • Develop tools and maintain solutions on behalf of business stakeholders.
  • Implementation of relevant procedures

Qualifications and competencies:

  • 1-3 years data management experience with knowledge of data quality. An understanding of data quality management relating to retail stock data.1-3 years knowledge of systems, advanced proficiency with office, CRM and Shopify integrated systems and data principles that form the basis for data quality management would be advantageous.
  • Experience in inventory audits and retail stock taking
