JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee and manage our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse management with a focus on inventory control best practices, excellent leadership skills, and a keen eye for detail.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory control best practices.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field or equivalent working experience.
  • Proven involvement in warehouse management and inventory control with at least 5 years of experience in cycle counting or similar roles, preferably in an automotive or manufacturing setting.
  • Experience working with a CRM and inventory management software programs
  • QuickBooks knowledge is preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise warehouse staff and oversee daily operations.
  • Ensure efficient and timely receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.
  • Coordinate with other departments to fulfill orders and meet customer requirements.
  • Develop and implement cycle count strategies to improve inventory accuracy and reduce discrepancies.
  • Conduct regular audits to identify root causes of inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Maintain documentation of cycle count procedures, results, and improvements.
  • Implement best practices in inventory management to optimize warehouse efficiency.
  • Train and mentor warehouse staff to ensure high performance and adherence to company standards.
