Due to continued growth, we are seeking an energetic and hands-on Warehouse Team Leader to join our dynamic and friendly team at our busy warehouse located in Truganina working 12pm - 8pm Monday to Friday.
Reporting to the DC Manager, you will lead, train and motivate our warehouse team including drivers.
Your roles and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the Inbound and Inventory team.
- Coordinate and optimise inbound logistics processes, ensuring timely and accurate receipt of goods.
- Effectively manage and maintain inventory levels, minimising discrepancies, and optimising warehouse space.
- Lead and motivate the team to achieve performance targets and KPIs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance overall supply chain efficiency.
- Implement and enforce safety and compliance procedures within the warehouse.
To be successful in this role, you must have the ability to manage and motivate a team of store people in a busy warehouse environment that deals with fast moving products at high volume. You will ideally display the following attributes:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar supervisory role in a fast-moving warehouse environment
- Hands-on leadership experience
- Exceptional organisational skills and time management skills
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels
- Reliable, punctual and able to work under pressure
- Current forklift licence is essentia
