Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Warehouse Team Leader to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to take the next step in their career and join a global business with a £2 billion + turnover.
The Warehouse Team Leader will be managing and coordinating their team to ensure that daily targets are achieved and orders fully satisfied to the highest quality and standards.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Working with all departments and various teams within the business unit to ensure all products are produced to the highest quality and standards according to the order requirements
  • Ensure that all documentation and checks are completed in accordance with timescale and that both checks and paperwork is fully compliant with guidelines
  • Oversee the workload of the warehouse personnel and ensuring that goods are despatched in a timely manner as per departmental KPI’s
  • Oversee the goods-in process, location, rotation and management of stock
  • Train warehouse Colleagues (including casual staff) in best department practice ensuring staff follow SOP’s and standards
  • Communicate any quality, technical, machine or Health & Safety issues to the relevant department in the in the first instance
  • Assist in the development of new systems to help with overall efficiencies and stock monitoring
  • Seek and drive actions for a continuous improvement environment
  • Ensure all colleagues are working in a safe and clean environment - promote a Health & Safety, quality focussed and driven culture within the operation
  • To deputise for the Shift Operations Leader when required including the attendance of meetings
  • To ensure that all IPL values are demonstrated all the time
