Warehouse Team Leader, George - Western Cape
Our client is seeking a skilled Warehouse Team Leader who will oversee the daily operations of their warehouse. If you’re skilled with your hands and have previous warehouse experience, this could be the perfect role for you.
As a Warehouse Team Leader, you’ll oversee manufacturing, packaging and distribution operations, ensuring efficiency and quality every step of the way.

Responsibilities:

  • Technical Expertise: Possess in-depth knowledge of stitching/weaving processes as well as knowledge of various types of yarn and related technical aspects.
  • Mechanical Aptitude: Demonstrate proficiency in operating and maintaining warehouse machinery and equipment.
  • Hands-on Skills: Ability to perform manual tasks efficiently and effectively, especially those related to stitching/weaving and equipment maintenance.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and supervise warehouse staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure productivity and quality standards are met.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee inventory control measures, including stock organization, replenishment, and audits.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality assurance procedures to uphold product standards and minimize errors.
  • Packaging and Distribution: Coordinate packaging activities and ensure timely and accurate distribution of products to customers.
  • Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment for all warehouse personnel.
  • Problem Solving: Identify and address any issues or obstacles that may arise during warehouse operations, implementing effective solutions promptly.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of inventory, transactions, and other relevant documentation.
