Warehouse Technician - North Island

Nature of Position: Monday to Friday, full-time – 30-40 hours per week
Wage: Commensurate with experience

REQUIREMENTS

• Experienced forklift operator with valid forklift certification.
• Valid and clean BC driver’s license with reliable transportation
• Physically fit and safely able to perform some lifting up to 50lbs, mainly outdoor work.
• Able to work independently and take direction from management.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

The Warehouse Technician will work in coordination with the other members of the warehouse team and assist in the daily duties at multiple warehouse locations mainly in Coal Harbour, and Port Hardy, occasionally Port McNeil.

DUTIES

• Regular daily forklift operation.
• Load and unload freight from truck and barges.
• Consolidate and pack freight for shipment.
• Yard organization and clean up.
• Participate in the health and safety program, including monthly site inspections.
• Follow company procedures to safely execute daily tasks.
• Perform other duties as required.
